My first attempt at blogging sometime last year failed miserably. Perhaps because I didn't have much time to devote to it...or maybe it was because my life just isn't really worth writing much about. Whatever the reason, I decided everything deserves a second chance. Actually, it was an e-mail from my dear cousin Jill announcing the birth of her own blog that gave me the kick I needed to start over.
So with the end of summer comes college life once again. This semester I have Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays class-free, which is great except that in order to do that, I have to start classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. Oh well. It's probably the earliest I've been out of bed for school since Brockway High. The real reason I set my schedule up that way is so I can hopefully land a part-time job soon and earn some money to pay for...my wedding!
Anyway, the date is set for June 12, 2009, about a month after I graduate. Not a whole lot is settled yet, but we did decide to hold the ceremony and reception in Foxburg, Pa., a quaint little town about four miles south of I-80 below Emlenton.
The place is right along
the Allegheny River--this is a photo Andrew took from the courtyard where the wedding will be held. His cousin, Rachel Trebolo Taylor, will be our photographer, so we're hoping for some really great pictures. To see some of her beautiful work, check out http://www.racheltrebolo.com/.

It's all very new and exciting, so I'm sure I'll post more details as they come together for those of you who may be interested.
I think this should be enough for now. Good night!

Hi, I got connected with you from Jill's blog, and it is great to know more about your wedding plans! I hadn't heard the date in June, so now I know!
After 37 years of marriage I can rejoice with you two and enter into your hopes and expectations of your life together.
